Henry is a young mini Dachshund with a beautiful soft red coat, slightly darker ears, and the sweetest, most expressive eyes. He’s a gentle, playful little boy who has clearly been loved and well cared for. He’s comfortable wearing his collar and accessories, and his calm, affectionate nature shines through in everything he does. Henry loves being around people and has a warm, loving personality that makes him easy to fall in love with. Henry was originally adopted by a wonderful woman as a companion for her daughter, who was bravely battling cancer. Sadly, her daughter’s condition worsened, and she passed away. During such a heartbreaking time, Henry’s mom made the incredibly difficult decision to return him to us, sharing that her daughter’s final wish was for Henry to find a loving, caring family who would give him the life she always wanted for him.
We promised to honor that wish. Henry will go to his new home with all his belongings his toys, his smart collar, and his cozy crate. He truly deserves a second chance with a family who will love him as deeply as he will love them.
